Maxillofacial Surgeons everywhere the country celebrated external body part Surgeons Day during a distinctive method.This day was earmarked for road safety awareness. They launched the project Face it. India is that the accident capital of the globe with over hour fatalities and half-hour permanent disfigurement.As guardians of Facial trauma the association took up the state wide initiative and commenced the formidable project of teaching the young minds on meaningless driving it had been launched in urban center by Dr.Ashwath Narayan MLA Malleshwaram at the side of the national president ,Dr. Sanjiv Nair and Dr Pritam Shetty in MES faculty,Malleswaram. the scholars were shown a motion picture at the side of a presentation by the surgeons on risks of happy-go-lucky driving. In another initiative expedited by the ABVP ,helmets were distributed to few students at RC Govt. College . Dr. Ashwath Narayan spoke regarding the importance of accountable driving and Dr.Sanjiv Nair highlighted the risks of unhealthy driving ettiquettes. Volvo ,known for its safety standards actively participated in project Face It. The external body part society can still educate the youth and different drivers concerning the risks of unhealthy driving during the year.
